The Axsis™ RLC-300 is state-of-the-art technology that encompasses the best elements of older photo enforcement systems yet goes far beyond. This system uses a single camera with the latest ultra-high 16 megapixel resolution camera to view all lanes at the same time, and ensure violators are detected and crystal clear images are captured. How the system works:

A single Axsis™ RLC-300 Intersection Safety Camera captures two high-resolution images from the rear of the vehicle using our 16 megapixel camera. The first image shows the vehicle with the front wheels behind the stop bar and the illuminated red light, and the second image shows the vehicle in the intersection with the rear wheels past the stop bar and an illuminated red light. These two images contain all the information needed to prosecute a red-light violation, including a clear image of the license plate, extracted from one of the actual violation images—only our single camera system can extract a plate from the completion photo if the initial plate is blocked.

The system also can be installed with a second camera to capture driver images (if required by local law).

Equally important to camera technology is the user-friendly yet highly advanced back-end Axsis™ VPS (Violation Processing System), a robust, full-featured and Web-enabled violation processing solution used by municipalities, police departments and courts. The system has been designed to enable image review and full processing of traffic violations for enforcement programs worldwide. Mobile Speed Safety Solutions

The Axsis™ SC-300 Digital Radar Speed Camera System represents the pinnacle of discreet vehicle detection and digital imaging. The system features an ultra-small and accurate single radar speed camera that mounts in a vehicle or on a tripod and captures images of speeding vehicles across four lanes. The SC-300 is one of only a few IACP Approved Across the Road Radar Systems certified for attended and unattended operation.

Fixed-Site Speed Enforcement

The Axsis™ SC-300F Fixed-Site Speed Camera system uses the same core technology and hardware as the Axsis™ RLC-300 Red-Light Camera. This means the hardware is interchangeable and easily maintained by the same technicians. The SC-300F Fixed Site Speed Cameras feature unparalleled accuracy and speed validation redundancy including the only Independent Wheel Base Validation System in the industry, ensuring independent validation of every speed violation that occurs.

Each violation also includes a 10-second video clip, which allows the police or charging officer to perform a comparative visual tracking history of the violation speed and surrounding circumstances. The system can also be installed with a second camera to capture driver facial images.

Time-Over-Distance Speed Enforcement

The patented* Axsis™ POINT TO POINT™ speed cameras system enables effective speed detection and enforcement of extended road segments. POINT TO POINT™ speed cameras utilize the time-over-distance principle to measure and enforce speeding on dangerous stretches of road not easily enforced by police personnel or other types of standard automated photo enforcement. ATS is the exclusive patent* licensee of the POINT TO POINT™ speed cameras system in the United States. This license also covers ATS’s POINT TO POINT™ speed monitoring services which it offers on a contract basis.

Railroad Crossing Enforcement Solutions

SafeTrax™, ATS’ railroad crossing safety and enforcement system, uses the RLC-300 camera system specifically customized for a railroad grade crossing. Interfacing directly with trains and gate detection systems, SafeTrax™ detects trains and captures images of vehicles that illegally attempt to cross the tracks after the lights, bells or gates are activated.

ATS understands the requirements of railroads. In fact, the principals of ATS implemented the first Railroad Crossing Camera Enforcement System in the United States along the MTA Blue Line in Los Angeles in 1993.

ATS has established a close working relationship with the Union Pacific Railroad company for photo enforcement systems along its rail lines.
